What is a cataract? A cataract is a cloudy lens. A cloudy lens blocks the amount of light entering your eye, the cloudier the lens, the more light it blocks and the less you could see. Sometimes glasses will help alleviate the blurry vision, if not, then you will likely need cataract surgery.

What is glaucoma? It is an asymptomatic, progressive, blinding disease that affects mostly elderly patients and their family members may have it too. Treatment options include: eye drops, laser treatment or surgical options from more invasive to minimally invasive shunts. These options will be determined by the severity of your glaucoma.
